            Notice is hereby given there will be a Special Meeting to be Held on December 30^th 2024 at 5:00 pm  for the purpose of discussing disciplinary action, The meeting is open to the public but will not take public comment. For the Plattekill Fire District,Of the Town of Newburgh Orange County and the Town of Plattekill, Ulster County, State of New York Location 50 Firehouse Rd Wallkill, NY.

            This notification is being given to the news media pursuant to the provisions of section 94 of the Public Officer Law of the State of New York.

Attached is a public notice regarding EPA’s sixth five-year review of the Hertel Landfill Superfund site. This review seeks to confirm that the EPA’s cleanup plan for the site remains protective of people’s health and the environment.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: the Town Board of the Town of Plattekill will be holding a Voucher/Resolution Meeting on December 30, 2024, at 2:00PM.

As well as the Annual Settlement Meeting for the year 2024 on December 30, 2024, at 3:00PM at the Plattekill Town Hall located at 1915 Route 44/55, Modena NY 12548.

Reorganization Meeting, along with the regularly scheduled Town Board Meeting will be held January 2, 2025 at 7:00PM. There will NOT be a Town Board Meeting, January 1, 2025
Swearing in Ceremony for Newly Elected Officials will be on January 1, 2025 at 12:00PM.

ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE Plattekill FIRE DISTRICT
On December 10, 2024

        NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Plattekill Fire District will take place on December 10, 2024 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Plattekill Fire House located on Firehouse Rd, Plattekill New York for the purpose of electing (2) Commissioners one for a One (1) year term, commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2025 and a Five (5) year term commencing January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2030. All registered voters of the Plattekill Fire District shall be eligible to vote.
Candidates for District Office shall have their petition filed with the Secretary of the Plattekill Fire District, at the firehouse on Firehouse Rd. Plattekill New York, no later than twenty days before the election, November 20, 2024.
