I would like to wish you and yours a healthy and prosperous new year and welcome you to our new Town of Plattekill website. 

I would also like to give thanks to our Building Inspector Ed Diller and Town Clerk Sarah Nelson for their hard work and dedication to make this happen so smooth and quickly.  Please be patient as we continue to build and develop our new site and continue to develop our town website that will have the most up to date information and resources available.

2024 will bring many new and exciting additions to our town.  Some of the best entertainment with “Music in the Park”, a new trail through the woods built and developed by the Boy Scouts with Southern Ulster Rotary, the best fireworks celebration in the Hudson Valley, Plattekill Day and many more events.

There is always something going on for all to enjoy.

ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE Plattekill FIRE DISTRICT

On December 12, 2023

        NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Plattekill Fire District will take place on December 12, 2023 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Plattekill Fire House located on Firehouse Rd, Plattekill New York for the purpose of electing (1) Commissioners one for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2028. All registered voters of the Plattekill Fire District shall be eligible to vote.

Candidates for District Office shall have their petition filed with the Secretary of the Plattekill Fire District, at the firehouse on Firehouse Rd. Plattekill New York, no later than twenty days before the election, November 22, 2023.
