During the month of November, Verizon has subcontracted UNDC to locate and inspect utility poles in the Town of Plattekill. The poles being inspected are double poles and zombie poles. When a pole has been damaged and subsequently replaced with a new pole but the damaged pole was not removed. To date at least 158 poles need to be addressed.

Please be aware that UNDC road crews will be in our neighborhoods over the next several weeks to perform the inspections. We ask for your patience and cooperation during this time so these road crews can finish this much needed work in a safe and timely manner.
