Hiring Deputy Town Clerk
HIRING: The Town of Plattekill is accepting applications for employment for a Deputy Town Clerk. Hours Monday-Friday 9am-3:30pm Hourly Pay Vacation time & benefits available MUST be a Plattekill Resident Civil Service Exam is not required. The Deputy Town Clerk is responsible for the administration and daily operations of the Town Clerks office, under the direction of the Town Clerk. Responsibilities include but are not limited to clerical duties; assist the public and Town departments as needed; records management; handling of confidential records & municipal funds. Candidates must be organized and detailed oriented with a professional demeanor; possess multi-tasking skills; be proficient with Microsoft Office and common office equipment; have excellent customer service and communication skills; and be a self-starter who works well independently.
