Welcome
I would like to wish you and yours a healthy and prosperous new year and welcome you to our new Town of Plattekill website.
I would also like to give thanks to our Building Inspector Ed Diller and Town Clerk Sarah Nelson for their hard work and dedication to make this happen so smooth and quickly. Please be patient as we continue to build and develop our new site and continue to develop our town website that will have the most up to date information and resources available.
2024 will bring many new and exciting additions to our town. Some of the best entertainment with “Music in the Park”, a new trail through the woods built and developed by the Boy Scouts with Southern Ulster Rotary, the best fireworks celebration in the Hudson Valley, Plattekill Day and many more events.
There is always something going on for all to enjoy.

Town Board Applications
A local government area (LGA) is an administrative division of a country that a local government is responsible for. The size of an LGA varies by country but it is generally a subdivision of a state, province, division, or territory.
Temporary Sign Permit Application
Traffic signs or road signs are signs erected at the side of or above roads to give instructions or provide information to road users. The earliest signs were simple wooden or stone milestones.
Residential Parking Permit
Residential zoned parking is a local government practice of designating certain on-street automobile parking spaces for the exclusive use of nearby residents.
Parking Strategic Plan
Parking is the act of stopping and disengaging a vehicle and leaving it unoccupied. Parking on one or both sides of a road is often permitted, though sometimes with restrictions.
